Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 lemon halved
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3 tbsp prepared horseradish
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

  1. Bring a pot of salted water with the lemon halves to a boil.
  2. Add the shrimp and poach 2 to 3 minutes until pink and just cooked.
  3. Drain and plunge the shrimp into ice water to chill, then pat dry.
  4. Stir together the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice and hot sauce for the sauce.
