Banana Cream Pie

Buttery crust and layered with fresh bananas, silky vanilla custard, and topped with whipped cream.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pre-baked pie crust
  • 3 bananas sliced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 box vanilla pudding mix
  • 1.5 cups whipped cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Whisk the pudding mix with the milk and vanilla until it begins to thicken.
  2. Arrange a layer of banana slices in the bottom of the pie crust.
  3. Pour half of the pudding over the bananas.
  4. Add another layer of bananas and the remaining pudding.
  5. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
  6. Spread whipped cream over the top before slicing and serving.
