How To Clean A Bugaboo Stroller
If not cleaned regularly, dirt and dust can build up on your Bugaboo stroller and create a breeding ground for bacteria. Here are some tips on how to clean it.
The first step is to remove any excess dirt or debris from the stroller. You can do this by using a brush or a vacuum cleaner. If there is any sticky material or dried food on the stroller, you can use a damp cloth to wipe it off. You’ll now be ready to begin cleaning.
Remove The Cloth Parts
Next, you’ll need to remove the cloth parts of your stroller.
The Bugaboo Frog, Cameleon, Donkey, and Buffalo can be removed in different ways depending on which style you have. For example, there are tabs that you must unfasten from the metal frame before removing certain pieces like the bassinet fabric or seat material, unlike other models where they pull apart at their seams
The detachable Bugaboo fabrics are all machine washable and can withstand temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

If you’d prefer to clean the fabric parts by hand then simply mix together a solution of mild detergent and water.
Clean The Plastic And Metal Components
Cleaning the Bugaboo frame is easy and takes only a few minutes. Use lukewarm tap water for cleaning off dirt, sand, or muck from its metal body with a sponge or soapy cloth. Be sure to rinse it off afterwards and dry it thoroughly for about 10 more seconds.
If the stroller is particularly dirty then disinfect it with a disinfectant spray or a diluted bleach solution.
Clean The Wheels
If you want to be really thorough, it’s possible (though not necessary) to clean both the wheels and body of your stroller in one go. Just make sure that when shampooing or soap-sudsing them separately to never completely submerge any part underwater; doing so may damage bearings!
After removing all dirt from each wheel using a warm wet cloth, dry thoroughly before putting back onto the frame.
