Like most jogging strollers, the Tre has a super-adjustable handlebar that can be set in five positions to fit parents of different heights. More importantly, on the handlebar is a brake, allowing you to restrain the stroller without having to interrupt your stride. That’s an important safety feature, enabling you to slow the stroller down when you’re running downhill. Furthermore, you can lock and unlock the front swivel wheel via a hand-controlled switch as you negotiate different terrain.
The Tre has a generous sun canopy with a peek-a-boo window, allowing you to keep an eye on your child as you run. Additionally, the canopy is extendable and has a flip-up tinted window and mesh vent. The Duallie double version of the Ironman can accommodate two kids of 50 pounds each.
For superior maneuverability and handling, the Ironman has a fixed front wheel. Also, you can adjust the tracking to keep the stroller running straight. Additionally, like the Ironman, the Sport Utility has three 16-inch wheels, the front wheel being fixed for increased stability, and you can adjust the tracking too.
Like the Tre, the Sport Utility has a quick, two-step fold and a lightweight frame for hassle-free transport and convenient storage. However, this stroller will take a child of up to 70 pounds, far outstripping the capacity of the Tre.
The Sport Utility has a similar braking set-up to the Ironman with a foot-action rear wheel parking brake and a hand-activated front brake for slowing. There’s a safety tether too.

BOB’s Rambler stroller is slightly less expensive than many of their other models; nevertheless, it still comes with plenty of appealing features for the outdoorsy parent.
The Rambler is lighter than the Tre at just over 25 pounds, and like all BOB’s strollers, it can be converted to a travel system for a newborn. Older kids will enjoy riding in the comfy, super-padded seat that you can adjust to a deep recline for napping or put upright so that your child can enjoy the view. BOB’s trademark full-coverage UPF 50+ canopy and large storage basket are big plus points. Also, for extra maneuverability, the Rambler has a lockable swivel front wheel that makes the stroller suitable for urban and country activities.
The air-filled tires are just 12 inches in diameter, that’s slightly smaller than those on the Tre and BOB’s other joggers. Nonetheless, the mountain-bike style suspension system still gives a smooth ride. A one-step, foot-activated parking brake keeps the stroller stationary when required.
On the negative side, the Rambler’s handlebar is not adjustable, and the height of 39 inches could be too low for taller parents.

Wrapping it up
If you’re on the lookout for a high-quality jogging stroller that you can use to transport your child safely and in comfort while you’re keeping fit, the Chicco Tre and BOB’s range of joggers have you covered.
The Chicco Tre is very well-equipped and can be used for a newborn baby, provided you fit an infant car seat. Moreover, the Tre has some great safety features, including a hand-operated brake on the stroller’s adjustable handlebar, and the suspension system and air-filled tires assure your passenger of a comfy ride. The main drawback to the Tre is that it is pretty heavy, so you’ll need to be fit if you’re planning on jogging in a hilly area with a 50-pound child on board!
All the strollers in BOB’s range of jogging models are incredibly robust and are built to withstand the rigors of off-road travel with your child. BOB’s joggers are constructed with an aluminum frame, making them super-light and easy to push. With your child’s comfort in mind, BOB’s joggers all have a hi-tech suspension system, large wheels, and air-filled tires, so you’ll glide smoothly across the roughest ground with ease.
On balance, we would have to say that BOB’s strollers are perhaps most suitable for those who want to take a walk on the wild side. However, if you want a stroller that you can use for daily errands, trips into town, and the occasional outing to the park or more rural territory, the Tre might be perfect for you.
