Hot Honey Chicken & Potatoes

This is a hot honey chicken and potato recipe. You want to cut your potatoes into wedges, boil them with some salt to soften them, then pop them in the air fryer, seasoning them with Cajun seasoning.

Prep the Chicken

You’re then going to cut up chicken tenderloins in a bowl. I like to take the extra time to pull the tendon out of the tenderloins because that tends to be a little chewy. So if you do that, these cut up really easily.

You’re going to season that chicken with hot honey, garlic salt, pepper, and paprika and stir that up. By this point, your potatoes should be finishing up after tossing them a couple times. Put them in some foil to keep them warm, and let’s get that chicken in the air fryer.

Make the Cheesy Sauce

We’re then going to make a cheesy sauce to drizzle over the meal. I went with three tablespoons of butter, which I warmed in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Put in a cup of milk and then a drizzle of that hot honey again, some Cajun seasoning, some paprika, and some garlic salt.

I really like the taste of garlic salt, but you can just use regular salt here if you like, just to salt it up a little bit. You’re then going to grate some cheese in this fresh, stir it around, put it in a microwave-safe dish, and melt your sauce. You’re then going to stir that up with a whisk.

If it’s too watery, you can pull back on your milk to make it a little bit thicker or add some more cheese.

Serve the Meal

Put your chicken on your plate, your potato wedges on your plate, give that all a little drizzle, and your whole family is gonna love this one.
