It all began in Post WWII Italy when new father Guiseppe Perego built his own baby carriage for his infant son since the ones available for purchase didn’t suit him. Perego’s design and functionality had an appealing, interesting appearance. When his wife added an array of tasteful fabrics and color schemes, these prams were noticed by mothers in the neighborhood and soon orders were coming in for more and more custom-made carriages.

This is how the Peg Perego line of strollers began and today Perego family still runs the business. They take pride in keeping the entire production process within Italy.

  • The Team can convert to a double stroller by adding the Team Adapter (sold separately). There is no need to buy a second seat right away, as the Team can be converted to a double with...

Peg Perego has a beautiful new contribution to the single-to-double convertible stroller called Team. The Team is ideal for families starting out with one child with the intention to have another baby and will need to upgrade to a double stroller later on. For families expecting twins, the Team is a great stroller for twins. This Peg Perego stroller comes with the chassis, the reversable toddler seat and and a bassinet.

Features in this 31-pound single stroller holds your child up to 50 pounds. To turn it into a double, you’d buy the Team adapter and use it with the second seat, which is as roomy as the main seat. Or attach the bassinet or the Primo Viaggio car seat right onto the adapter. The bassinet is approved for overnight use, and has an adjustable head rest and can fold flat for storage.

Stroller features include a unique seat recline that slides out and back creating the best comfort for your passenger. A quick, easy compact fold when seat(s) are facing forward or backward is a favorite. The sun canopy is huge, offering lots of protection along with a UV protected visor and a large mesh peek-a-boo window for air circulation.

Parents enjoy the one-handed steering and height-adjustable telescoping handle, large storage basket and smooth ride with the large polyurethane wheels and suspension system. Not to mention it is designed and made in Italy with fashion forward fabric with a luxurious look and feel.

Not many reviews out yet, but so far the Peg Perego Team has been getting high marks for the easy push and the one-handed fold. And of course the versatility!Take a look at this short video demo:

  • The seat is detachable and reversible creating an easy fold in both positions. The backrest recline slides open for a comfortable resting angle for the baby. The seat folds inward and...

Following the success of the Book and Book Plus, the Book Pop-Up stroller has many of the same features such as a premium lightweight chassis that folds inward like a book, keeping the fabric clean. Folds with seat in either direction.

This stroller weighs just under 24 pounds and holds your child up to 50 pounds.

Peg Perego strollers have interesting names, and the Pop Up part of the name is for the included bassinet that collapses when you are ready to fold, and pop up again for use again. I don’t know of any stroller that folds with the bassinet attached!

The seat is reversible with a deep recline, yet the upright position is quite straight.  Baby bumper bar is covered with a luxury leatherette material instead of fabric or foam.

You will appreciate the full coverage sun canopy with zip out panel that extends all the way past the bumper bar. It has an air circulation vented panel instead of a peek-a-boo window.

Parents enjoy an ergonomic adjustable height handle bar that you can steer with one hand.  A large storage basket has a flexible rim to get to your things while the seat is reclined or the bassinet is in place.

There is so much more to this fabulous stroller, so watch this informative video review to help you out.

  • Innovative design allows for quick and easy fold that closes inward, always keeping upholstery clean
  • Wheels with ball bearings and suspension allow for 360 degree agility and less effort in pushing; Lockable front swivel wheels with independent one-step rear wheel brakes

The success of the “Book” fold Peg Perego strollers led to the creation of the latest Book, a lightweight version called the Booklet.

Just like the other Books, this one has an inward one-handed quick fold and stands on its own. While the seat doesn’t reverse, it has a full recline and accepts a Primo Viaggio 4/35 Infant Car Seat as part of a travel system, no adapters needed.

The lightweight aluminum frame is sturdy and holds your child up to 50 pounds. The Booklet weighs just over 18 pounds. Sealed ball bearings in the wheels give it a smooth glide, even with more weight in the seat. The ergonomic handle bar makes one-handed steering possible. It’s also height-adjustable for your strolling comfort!

Just like the other Peg Perego strollers, this one has a canopy that cannot be beat. Extendable panels and a mesh panel for air circulation. A decent sized storage basket beneath the seat is large enough to hold all your necessities.

Happy parents give this stroller high ratings for the smooth ride, one-handed steering and easy fold. Consumer Reports rates the Peg Perego Booklet with an overall good score and is a Recommended Buy. They give it excellent marks across the board for Safety, Ease of Use and Maneuverability.

The Pliko Four is car seat-compatible; simply install the Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30 or  Primo Viaggo 4-35 car seat and you have a fully functioning Peg Perego travel system, no adapters necessary. An installed rear foot board provide an older sibling a safe place to ride along.

Parents get luxuries such as telescoping ergonomic handles to adjust to your appropriate height. The hood has a peek-a-boo window and unzips to become an airy sun canopy, effectively shading your child. Parents love the one-handed, compact fold.

The luxurious fabric is well padded and the seat reclines in four positions, including flat, along with an adjustable leg rest to support little legs during nap time.

Reviewers rave about how easy this Peg Perego stroller is to use, it’s light weight, the quality and durability and the smooth ride it gives. So far ratings have been very good.

Switch Four

Peg Perego Switch Four Stroller
  • Reversible seat allows baby to face you or the world ahead
  • Four different backrest and recline positions and foot muff allow the Switch Four to be placed in carriage mode
  • Travel system compatible with the Primo Viaggio SIP 30 30; It can accommodate a car seat directly onto the chassis

Unique defining features make the Switch Four a highly desirable buggy. The seat is removable, hence the name “Switch” – face your baby toward you or out to the world. When baby is a newborn, Peg Perego color-coordinates their Primo Viaggio Infant Car Seat with your stroller so you have a beautiful travel system. Fit the car seat right on top of the frame. The seat reclines to flat and is also suitable for newborn babies.

The Switch Four shares many of the same convenient amenities as the Pliko P3, such as the telescoping handles, extra large adjustable sun canopy, multi-position reclining seat, large storage basket, and a swing-away child’s tray. Another new feature is that you can now fold the Switch Four with or without the seat attached in either stroller or carriage mode. Add to that the beautiful foot muff (boot) that you see pictured, AND a rain cover. I just love these accessories!

Vela Easy Drive

No products found.

The Vela Easy Drive is for parents on the go. Redesigned from a three wheeler to four wheels, this Peg Perego stroller has ultra-smooth maneuverability. The spring units and sealed ball bearings in the wheels gives it an exceptional glide, especially with more weight in the seat.

The Vela weighs just under 16 pounds and quickly folds and unfolds one-handed, and the carrying handle adds super efficiency for transport. Parents rave about this constantly with high reviews for these features.

A super-sized, adjustable, ratcheting sun canopy is positioned exactly where you need, and a little loop at the top of the hood secures baby’s favorite toy. Keep drinks and snacks close by with the child’s snack tray. Spacious underseat storage provides a place to keep necessary items for your busy day.

A stable stroller is a necessity when you use it as part of a travel system. The Vela accommodates the Primo Viaggio car seat and attaches firmly with retractable car seat anchors.

The Vela is a very good looking, lightweight, functional Peg Perego stroller and you will learn more with the demo video here.

Double Peg Perego Strollers

For twins or different age kids, you’ll have it all together with these innovative, modern and eye-catching designs.

Pliko Mini Twin

Peg Perego Pliko Mini Twin Baby Stroller, Mod Yelow
  • Made In Italy
  • Both seats have a generous recline that can be implemented independently allowing children their preferred comfort level.
  • Central handle allows parent to maneuver the stroller with just one hand.

Peg Perego had a hit years ago with their umbrella stroller called the Pliko Mini. Nothing like the one-handed standing fold! Now imagine this fabulous little stroller for two! It’s like two strollers were put side-by-side and now we have the Pliko Mini Twin. This double umbrella stroller holds 45 pounds in each seat and weighs 24 pounds.

The fold is so simple to do, and it stands alone and can be rolled behind like luggage when you’re on the go.

Features like one-handed steering are a big hit, especially with double umbrella strollers where the handles are so wide apart. The middle handle makes this possible. It has telescoping adjustable handles for strolling comfort no matter your height. Parents, you also get a one-step rear brake and ball bearings in the front wheels ease maneuvering. Storage baskets beneath the seats hold your necessities.

For baby, independent seats have a strap recline and adjustable foot rests for maximum comfort. Because the seat does not recline fully, babies be at least 6 months old to ride. Full-coverage sun canopies provide complete sun and weather protection, while large peek-a-boo windows at the back lets you keep an eye on your passengers.

Book for Two

No products found.

This Peg Perego double stroller is modeled after their popular Book series, using the same fold and features and doubling it for families with two kids. The Book for Two weighs 30.8 pounds and holds each child up to 45 pounds in each seat. Babies 6 months and older can ride, however, both seats can accommodate a Peg Perego Primo Viaggio 4/35 car seat with adapters sold separately, as a convenient option for parents of twins, or use one car seat for siblings of different ages.

A 29-inch width is a narrow footprint so you can enter through most doorways and shopping and maneuvering is easy to do. The Book for Two already has rave reviews about the smooth steering and the way it glides over “mommy terrain” such as grass and park mulch. Kids are comfy with independent reclining seats and adjustable leg rests. Full coverage sun canopies give the right amount of protection and have magnetic covers over the large mesh peek-a-boo windows for quiet checking in. A single bumper bar runs across both seats, hinging open for easy ins and outs.

Parents, you get large easy access baskets beneath the seats as well as netted storage pockets behind the seats. No cup holders for kids or parents, though. But the single handle makes it easy for one-handed steering and parents love the innovated one-handed book fold.

Rave reviews are beginning to pour in with consumers remarking about the super smooth ride and push. So far it is getting 5 stars! Parents like the seats and feel they are very comfortable for their children. They also appreciate lots of storage space.

Duete

Most tandem strollers are made for different age siblings, since one seat is often superior to the other, usually the younger one is enclosed in the back seat. Parents of twins must search for a stroller that gives equal benefits to both children and the Peg Perego Duette is one of those few strollers.

The two seats are removable and you can position them in several different ways: both facing forward, both facing Mom, facing each other if the children get along and want to play, or facing opposite directions when they need to be separated

Read Review

This variety of choices is so helpful! The generous sun canopies on the seats are also removable, adding even more choice.

The Duette accommodates one or two Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 car seats, while many tandem strollers can only take one car seat. This is very important for families with twins. You can remove the seats and place the car seats right onto the chassis until the babies are big enough to be in the seat. Both seats can recline fully as well whereas in other tandems, the front seat usually does not recline much at all.

Lastly, this stroller comes equipped with a steering wheel to make maneuverability extremely easy. For better stability, you can lock the front swivel wheels with a push of a button on the steering wheel.

Unlike most of the other Peg Perego strollers, the downsides of the Duette are numerous, with the heaviness being one. It weighs 43 pounds! Another is that this stroller cannot be folded down easily and you must own a large SUV for it to fit; the seats must each be detached before you fold down the chassis. Next, it is very difficult to access the storage basket beneath the seats. Lastly, the Duette is expensive and not for families on a budget; the current price is $800.

There are lots of alternatives in my Tandem Strollers page, like the UPPABaby Vista. Much lighter weight, more seating options.

Triplette

Peg Perego Triplette SW Stroller Seats, Atmosphere
  • Steering wheel handlebar effortlessly steers the front wheels
  • Travel System compatible-three stroller seats or three Primo Viaggio car seats (sold separately) attach directly to the frame
  • Seats have fully reclining four-position backrests and two-position footrests

The Peg Perego Triplette is based on the same design as the Duette, using a sturdy chassis and three removable seats you can face in a variety of positions. Each stroller seat is car seat compatible, so moms with triplets can use this stroller for their newborns. Of course many parents who purchase this product have twins plus a singleton, and this works well for the Triplette as well.

Like the Duette, the Triplette is equipped with a steering wheel to make steering this monolithic beast easier. Features also include rear wheel brakes and a combined weight limit of 135 pounds. The stroller, with the seats attached, weighs just over 60 pounds!

This makes the Triplette absolutely humongous, and you must have a large vehicle, like a van or large SUV to be able to take it with you. Like the Duette, the seats must be taken out and chassis folded for storage.

Reviews for the Peg Perego Triplette SW have been mixed. Owners either love it or hate it. The bad reviews come from parents who have had trouble storing it in their vehicle, both because of its size, weight and the fact that you have to remove each seat and have space in your vehicle for those seats.
