Peppermint Pretzel Bites Crunchy

Talk about the perfect sweet and salty combo! These little pretzel bites are ridiculously easy and so festive with that peppermint crunch. I make a double batch every year because they disappear faster than Santa on Christmas Eve!

Total Time 15 minutes
Servings: 24 servings

Ingredients

  • 24 small pretzel squares or snaps
  • 24 Hershey's Hugs or white chocolate kisses
  • 12 mini candy canes crushed
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips for extra drizzle
  • Red and green sprinkles
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the pretzel squares in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they don't touch.
  3. Place one unwrapped Hershey's Hug or white chocolate kiss on top of each pretzel.
  4. Bake for 4-5 minutes, just until the chocolate is soft and shiny but not completely melted.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediately press a small amount of crushed candy cane onto the top of each softened chocolate.
  6. Add a few red and green sprinkles to each bite for extra holiday cheer.
  7. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  8. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the pretzel bites using a fork or piping bag.
  9. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes until the chocolate is completely set, then transfer to a serving plate.
  10. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
