No-Bake Cereal Bars with Holiday Colors

Think Rice Krispie treats but made with Fruity Pebbles or Lucky Charms for a full-on holiday color explosion. Kids are obsessed with picking the cereal and pressing the bars into the pan. Cut into squares and wrap in little cellophane bags for the world's easiest classroom treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Fruity Pebbles or Holiday Lucky Charms cereal
  • 1/4 cup red and green M&Ms
  • 1/4 cup holiday sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat, add marshmallows, and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in cereal until evenly coated.
  4. Fold in M&Ms quickly.
  5. Press mixture evenly into the prepared pan, sprinkling the top with holiday sprinkles while still warm.
  6. Let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then cut into squares.
