Total Time 20 minutes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 6 oz* high-protein pasta
  • 1 small zucchini cut up
  • 1 clove garlic cut up
  • 1 tablespoon* olive oil for the pan
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon* milk a splash
  • 4 oz smoked salmon
  • 1 tablespoon pesto
  • 1/4 teaspoon* salt go easy, salmon is salty
  • 1/4 teaspoon* black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon* fresh basil chopped, for topping
  • 1/4 teaspoon* chili flakes for topping

Method

  1. Boil some salted water, add in your pasta, and give it a stir.
  2. While that's boiling, heat some olive oil in a pan and add the cut-up garlic and zucchini, then give it a stir.
  3. Add about two tablespoons of cream cheese and a splash of milk, then stir it all together.
  4. Add in four ounces of smoked salmon and give it a nice stir until it's all mixed in.
  5. Add in a tablespoon of pesto, stirring as you go.
  6. Add some salt and pepper, but go easy on the salt because the smoked salmon is already quite salty, then stir until everything is combined and let it simmer.
  7. Drain your pasta when it's ready and go ahead and combine everything, giving it a good stir.
  8. Plate it up and add any toppings you like, like fresh chopped basil and chili flakes.

You don't need too much salt because the smoked salmon is also quite salty already.
