Instructions: 1 Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Steam or blanch the broccoli florets until just tender, about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
Add the shredded chicken and broccoli florets to the cheese mixture. Stir until everything is well coated.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
If using, sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes: You can use any cooked chicken, like rotisserie chicken, to make this recipe even quicker. Add a little extra kick by mixing in some red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce. This casserole freezes well! Just cover tightly and freeze for up to 3 months.
Thaw in the fridge overnight before baking.
