Dark Chocolate-Dipped Cherries

These are for when you want something that looks like it came from a chocolate shop but took you ten minutes. Kids love holding the stems and dunking the cherries, and the result is a grown-up-looking treat that tastes incredible. Pat the cherries very dry or the chocolate won't stick.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh cherries with stems washed and dried
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt flakes optional topping
  • 2 tablespoons white chocolate melted (for drizzle)

Method

  1. Dry cherries thoroughly with paper towels — this step really matters.
  2. Melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until silky smooth.
  3. Hold each cherry by the stem and dip it into the chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  4. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and add a pinch of sea salt or a drizzle of white chocolate.
  5. Refrigerate for 15 minutes until set, then serve the same day for best texture.
