Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 2 cups powdered sugar divided
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice or apple juice
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Crush vanilla wafers inside a zip-lock bag with a rolling pin until they become fine crumbs.
  2. Mix wafer crumbs, 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, and cocoa powder together in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in orange juice, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt until a thick dough forms.
  4. Roll into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in remaining powdered sugar.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and let rest for at least 24 hours before serving.
