Cheesy Jalapeño Bread

A crusty loaf filled with gooey cheese and jalapeños makes for an excellent shareable pull-apart bread!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 round sourdough loaf
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack
  • 2 jalapeños diced
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F and line a sheet pan with foil.
  2. Cut the loaf in a crosshatch pattern without slicing all the way through.
  3. Stir the garlic powder into the melted butter and drizzle it into the cuts.
  4. Stuff the cheese, jalapeños, and green onions into the crevices.
  5. Wrap in foil and bake 15 minutes, then uncover and bake 5 more until bubbly.

Notes

Pop it under the broiler for a minute if you want extra-crispy edges.
