Pan-seared chicken breasts drizzled with a sweet honey reduction glaze.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat, about 5 minutes per side, then remove.
  3. Add garlic to the pan and cook 30 seconds, then pour in balsamic vinegar and honey.
  4. Simmer until the glaze thickens and coats a spoon, 4-5 minutes.
  5. Return the chicken, spoon glaze over the top, and cook 2 minutes more until 165°F.

Notes

Watch the glaze near the end so it reduces without scorching.
