Total Time 55 minutes
Servings: 16 bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1.5 cups chocolate chips melted

Method

  1. Heat oven to 350F and line a 9x13 pan with parchment.
  2. Whisk the melted butter, sugar, eggs, cocoa, and flour into a thick batter and spread in the pan.
  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until set, then cool completely.
  4. Spread the peanut butter over the cooled brownies.
  5. Stir the cereal into the melted chocolate and spread over the peanut butter layer.
  6. Chill 30 minutes until the top sets, then cut into bars.

Notes

Warm the peanut butter a few seconds so it spreads without tearing the brownie.
