Tater Tot Nachos

Crispy tots that are covered with melted cheese and seasoned beef. Served with all the nacho toppings on a sheet pan.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 32 oz bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 cup black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp pickled jalapenos

Method
 

  1. Bake the tater tots on a large sheet pan until crisp, about 25 minutes.
  2. While they bake, brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain, then stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water.
  3. Spread the cooked beef and black beans over the hot tots, then cover with shredded cheese.
  4. Return the pan to the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
  5. Top with tomato, green onions, jalapenos, and a drizzle of sour cream and serve straight off the pan.
