Taco Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef browned and drained
  • 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 15 oz pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 15 oz corn, drained
  • 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 can 10 oz diced tomatoes with green chiles
  • 1 packet 1 oz taco seasoning
  • 1 packet 1 oz ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Add the browned ground beef to the slow cooker along with the black beans, pinto beans, and corn.
  2. Pour in the diced tomatoes, tomatoes with green chiles, and beef broth.
  3. Add the diced onion, taco seasoning, ranch seasoning mix, and garlic powder, stirring well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the flavors have melded together.
  5. Stir well before serving and ladle into bowls.
  6. Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, crushed tortilla chips, jalapeƱos, and cilantro as desired.
