Spinach Artichoke Pinwheels

If you love spinach artichoke dip — and who doesn't — this is the appetizer you've been waiting for. The filling is creamy and rich, and the crescent dough bakes up flaky around it. These feel fancy but take almost no effort.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tubes crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup frozen spinach thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup canned artichoke hearts drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, spinach, artichoke hearts, Parmesan, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes until combined.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and press seams to form two rectangles.
  4. Spread spinach artichoke mixture evenly over each rectangle.
  5. Roll tightly, slice into 1-inch rounds, and place on prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake 13 to 15 minutes until golden and filling is set.
