Spinach and Feta Crescent Roll Pinwheels

These are vegetarian-friendly and taste like a fancy Greek appetizer, but you're literally just unrolling dough from a can. They're great alongside the heavier protein dishes to give guests some balance. The spinach and feta combo is classic for a reason.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 8 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup frozen spinach thawed and squeezed very dry
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and press seams together to form one rectangle.
  3. Mix cream cheese, feta, spinach, garlic, pepper, and oregano together and spread evenly over the dough.
  4. Roll up tightly from the long side and cut into 1-inch slices.
  5. Place on prepared baking sheet cut-side down and bake for 12-14 minutes until golden.
  6. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
