Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the chopped spinach, shredded mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the spinach and cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the crescents with the beaten egg to give them a shiny, golden crust when baked.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
These can be made in advance and reheated in the oven or air fryer for a quick snack. Feel free to add other ingredients, like chopped cooked bacon or sun-dried tomatoes, to the filling for extra flavor.
