Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds chicken wings separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1 cup Buffalo hot sauce like Frank's RedHot
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving
  • Celery sticks for serving

Method

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Buffalo sauce, melted butter, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Place the wings in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them, tossing to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 2-2.5 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. For extra crispy wings (optional but recommended!), transfer the cooked wings to a baking sheet and broil for 3-5 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  6. Return wings to the slow cooker and toss in the remaining sauce. Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
