Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs

These feel like something you'd pay $4 each for at a brunch spot. Cream cheese and smoked salmon in the filling makes them rich and savory in the best way. They look impressive but honestly take the same amount of time as any other deviled egg.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 large eggs hard-boiled and peeled
  • 2 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 oz smoked salmon finely chopped, plus small pieces for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • capers and extra dill for garnish

Method
 

  1. Halve eggs and move yolks to a bowl.
  2. Mash yolks smooth, then beat in cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, and salt.
  3. Fold in the finely chopped smoked salmon.
  4. Pipe or spoon the filling into egg white halves.
  5. Top each with a small piece of smoked salmon, a caper, and a tiny dill sprig.
