Smoked Salmon Crostini

Crisp crostini with cream cheese, herbs, smoked salmon, and capers.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 baguette sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 6 oz smoked salmon
  • 2 tbsp capers drained

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F, brush the baguette slices with olive oil, and toast for 6 to 8 minutes.
  2. Mix the cream cheese with the chopped dill.
  3. Spread the dill cream cheese onto each toasted slice.
  4. Drape a piece of smoked salmon over each crostini.
  5. Top with a few capers and an extra sprig of dill.

Notes

A squeeze of lemon over the top adds a bright finish.
