Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs

Honey garlic is one of those flavor combos that disappears from the appetizer table in minutes. This version is sticky, savory, and just a little sweet — the kind of thing guests eat four of before they realize it. You can also serve these over rice for a super easy weeknight dinner bonus.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs frozen fully cooked meatballs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 green onions sliced for garnish

Method
 

  1. Add frozen meatballs to the slow cooker.
  2. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, then pour over meatballs.
  3. Cook on low for 3-4 hours, stirring once halfway through.
  4. Mix cornstarch and cold water and stir into the cooker in the last 20 minutes to thicken.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
