Slow Cooker Dump Chicken Taco Dinner

Taco night just got a whole lot easier, mama! This set-it-and-forget-it chicken taco recipe is perfect for those crazy weeknights when you need dinner to basically make itself. Just dump everything in your slow cooker in the morning, and come home to the most delicious, tender taco meat that'll have everyone asking for seconds.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup salsa your favorite kind
  • 1 packet 1 ounce taco seasoning
  • 1 can 15 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup frozen corn kernels

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Dump salsa, taco seasoning, black beans, and frozen corn over the chicken. No need to stir!
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  4. Remove chicken and shred with two forks, then return to slow cooker and stir everything together.
  5. Serve in taco shells or over rice with your favorite toppings like sour cream, cheese, lettuce, and avocado.
