Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the Italian sausage with minced garlic until fully cooked and crumbled, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce.
In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
Spread 1 cup of meat sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella and 1/3 cup of provolone, then top with one-third of the remaining meat sauce.
Repeat layers once more, then top with remaining 4 noodles, remaining meat sauce, and remaining cheeses.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let stand for 15 minutes before serving, then garnish with fresh parsley.
