Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescent Bites

Two ingredients, that's almost the whole recipe. Sausage and cream cheese cooked together make a filling that's so good you'll eat it off a spoon before it even makes it into the dough. These are a staple at every holiday brunch and game day spread.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tubes crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Mix hot cooked sausage with cream cheese, garlic powder, and pepper until cream cheese is melted in.
  3. Separate crescent triangles and place a heaping tablespoon of filling at the wide end.
  4. Roll toward the point and place on prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake 12 to 14 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm.
