Santa's Belly Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 0.75 cup butter melted
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.75 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup red icing
  • 0.5 cup black icing
  • 16 yellow square candies for buckles

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and grease an 8-inch square pan.
  2. Whisk the melted butter and sugar together, then beat in the eggs.
  3. Stir in the cocoa, flour, and salt until just combined and spread into the pan.
  4. Bake 22 to 25 minutes until the center is set, then cool completely and cut into 16 squares.
  5. Pipe a wide black icing belt across each brownie.
  6. Add a dot of red around the belt and press a yellow candy in the center for the buckle.

Notes

Let the brownies cool fully before icing so the belts stay crisp.
