Sage & Cranberry Stuffing

Classic herb stuffing with fresh sage and tart cranberries baked until golden on top and tender inside.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 cups cubed bread dried
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2.5 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp fresh sage chopped
  • 1 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Saute the onion and celery in the butter until soft, about 6 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, cranberries, sauteed vegetables, and sage.
  3. Pour in the broth and season with salt, tossing until evenly moistened.
  4. Transfer to a greased baking dish and cover with foil.
  5. Bake at 375F for 25 minutes covered, then 15 minutes uncovered until golden, and serve warm.

Notes

Dry your bread cubes overnight so the stuffing isn't soggy.
