Method
- Simmer the raspberries with the extra sugar until jammy, then mash and cool.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a pan with parchment.
- Whisk the butter, sugar, and eggs, then fold in the flour and cocoa.
- Spread the batter into the pan and dollop the raspberry sauce on top.
- Swirl with a knife to create ripples.
- Bake for 28 to 30 minutes, then cool before slicing.
Notes
Frozen raspberries work just as well as fresh for the sauce.
