Servings: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh figs halved
  • 4 oz gorgonzola cheese
  • 6 slices prosciutto halved lengthwise
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Tuck a small piece of gorgonzola into the center of each fig half.
  3. Wrap each fig with a strip of prosciutto and place seam-side down on the sheet.
  4. Bake 6 to 8 minutes, until the prosciutto crisps and the cheese softens.
  5. Drizzle with honey and balsamic glaze and serve warm.

Notes

Serve these warm. The melty gorgonzola against the crisp prosciutto is the whole magic.
