Pork Spring Rolls

Crunchy spring rolls are seasoned with pork and filled with crisp vegetables that have been fried until golden.

Total Time 45 minutes
Servings: 12 rolls

Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 lb ground pork
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 12 spring roll wrappers
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Cook the ground pork in a skillet until no longer pink.
  2. Add the cabbage, carrot, and soy sauce and stir-fry until just wilted, then cool.
  3. Spoon the filling onto each wrapper and roll up tightly, sealing the edge with water.
  4. Heat the oil to 350°F in a deep pan.
  5. Fry the rolls in batches for 3 to 4 minutes until golden and crisp.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve with sweet chili sauce.

Notes

Don't overfill or the rolls will burst while frying.
