Pork Ramen

Pork broth poured over chewy noodles and slices of tender pork along with a jammy soft egg.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 portions fresh ramen noodles
  • 4 cups pork or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp miso paste
  • 8 oz pork belly sliced
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs halved
  • 2 tbsp green onion sliced
  • 1 sheet nori halved

Method
 

  1. Simmer the broth with miso paste until well combined and savory.
  2. Sear the pork belly slices in a hot pan until browned and just cooked.
  3. Cook the ramen noodles, drain, and divide between two bowls.
  4. Ladle the hot broth over the noodles.
  5. Top each bowl with pork, a halved soft egg, green onion, and nori.

Notes

Soft-boil the eggs for 6.5 minutes for that signature jammy yolk.
