Peppermint Bark

Crunchy peppermint pieces top off the snap-worthy dark and white chocolate bark!
Prep Time 15 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes
Servings: 20 pieces

Ingredients

  • 10 oz dark chocolate chopped
  • 10 oz white chocolate chopped
  • 0.5 tsp peppermint extract
  • 4 candy canes crushed

Method

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment and have your crushed candy canes ready.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate gently, stir in half the peppermint extract, and spread it onto the parchment.
  3. Chill until just set, about 15 minutes in the fridge.
  4. Melt the white chocolate, stir in the rest of the extract, and pour it over the firm dark layer.
  5. Scatter the crushed candy canes on top, chill until solid, then break into jagged pieces.

Notes

Smash the candy canes inside a zip bag unless you enjoy finding peppermint dust in February.
