Ingredients

  • 3 cups raw almonds
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp black pepper cracked
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne

Method

  1. Preheat the smoker to 225F.
  2. Toss the almonds with melted butter, pepper, salt, garlic powder, and cayenne.
  3. Spread in a single layer on a perforated pan or foil.
  4. Smoke for about 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
  5. Let cool completely so they crisp up before serving.

Notes

They firm up as they cool, so don't worry if they seem soft straight off the smoker.
