Oven-Baked BBQ Ribs

Pork ribs are baked slowly for tenderness and coated in a sticky barbecue sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups barbecue sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 300F and remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  2. Rub the ribs all over with the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Wrap the ribs tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake 2.5 hours until the meat is very tender.
  5. Unwrap, brush generously with barbecue sauce, and bake uncovered 15 more minutes.
  6. Rest 10 minutes, then slice between the bones.

Notes

Broil for the last few minutes for caramelized, sticky edges.
