Mini BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

Pulled pork sliders are the ultimate crowd-feeding hack — one pork shoulder feeds fifty people and everyone loves them. Use the slow cooker so it's completely hands-off, then pile the meat on soft slider buns with coleslaw. Simple, filling, and perfect for a backyard hangout.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce plus more for serving
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 24 small slider buns
  • 2 cups prepared coleslaw

Method
 

  1. Rub pork shoulder with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place in slow cooker and pour BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar around it.
  3. Cook on low 8 hours or high 4-5 hours until fork-tender.
  4. Remove pork and shred with two forks, discarding excess fat.
  5. Return shredded pork to the slow cooker and toss with the juices.
  6. Pile meat onto slider buns and top each with a spoonful of coleslaw and a drizzle of extra BBQ sauce.
