Marshmallow Reindeer Cookies

Chocolate-dipped marshmallow cookie bites with pretzel antlers and a red candy nose create a whole herd of friendly reindeer.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 round shortbread cookies
  • 16 large marshmallows
  • 1.5 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 32 mini pretzel twists
  • 16 red candy-coated chocolates
  • 32 candy eyes

Method
 

  1. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
  2. Dip a marshmallow in chocolate and set it on a cookie to glue it down, then coat the whole top.
  3. While the chocolate is wet, press two pretzel twists in at the top as antlers.
  4. Add two candy eyes and a red candy nose to each reindeer face.
  5. Let the cookies set on parchment until the chocolate firms up.

Notes

Work in small batches so the chocolate stays melty enough to stick.
