Maple Mustard Ham Glaze

A sweet and tangy maple mustard glaze is brushed onto the ham and caramelizes to make a sticky shine.

Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 cup maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup Dijon mustard
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp ground cloves

Method
 

  1. Whisk the maple syrup, Dijon, brown sugar, vinegar, and cloves in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer over medium heat, stirring, until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Brush half the glaze over a warm ham and bake 15 minutes.
  4. Brush with the remaining glaze and bake another 15 minutes until sticky.
  5. Spoon any extra glaze over slices before serving.
