Ingredients
Method
- In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper to create the maple Dijon glaze.
- Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the glaze over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and place them on the preheated grill.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
- During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the chicken with any remaining glaze for extra flavor.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs for added color.
Notes
This dish pairs wonderfully with roasted vegetables or a simple green salad. Leftover chicken can be used in salads or sandwiches for quick and easy meals. If you prefer baking, cook the chicken in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, brushing with glaze halfway through.
