Maple Bacon Pretzel Bites

Ingredients
  

  • 6 strips bacon chopped
  • 4 cups pretzel nuggets
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Cook the chopped bacon in a skillet until crisp, then drain.
  3. Whisk the maple syrup, brown sugar, and cayenne in a bowl.
  4. Toss the pretzel nuggets and bacon in the maple mixture until coated.
  5. Spread on the baking sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes, stirring once.
  6. Cool fully so the glaze sets and crisps up.

Notes

They harden as they cool, so resist eating them straight from the pan.
