Macadamia Nut Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts chopped
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  5. Fold in chopped macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips.
  6. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
  7. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  8. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  9. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  10. These cookies make a delightful treat, combining rich, buttery macadamia nuts with sweet white chocolate for a delicious bite every time!
