Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts pounded to even thickness
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  2. Pat chicken breasts dry and rub the lemon pepper mixture all over both sides of each piece.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  5. Flip the chicken and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
