Ingredients
  

  • 12 large eggs hard-boiled and peeled
  • 2 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 jalapeños seeded and minced, plus slices for garnish
  • 1/4 cup sharp cheddar finely shredded
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 strips bacon cooked and crumbled

Method
 

  1. Halve eggs, remove yolks to a bowl, and mash thoroughly.
  2. Beat in cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced jalapeño, lime juice, and salt until smooth.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar.
  4. Fill egg whites with the spicy cream cheese mixture.
  5. Top each with a jalapeño slice and crumbled bacon before serving.
