Irish Cream Brownies

Brownies that melt in your mouth with Irish cream and finished with a creamy ganache that contains alcohol.

Ingredients
  

  • 0.75 cup butter melted
  • 1.25 cups sugar
  • 0.75 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp Irish cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

Method
 

  1. Whisk the melted butter, sugar, and cocoa until glossy.
  2. Beat in the eggs and 2 tablespoons of the Irish cream.
  3. Fold in the flour just until combined and spread into a lined 8x8 pan.
  4. Bake at 350F for 28 to 30 minutes, then cool completely.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips with the cream and remaining Irish cream into a ganache.
  6. Spread the ganache over the brownies and let it set before slicing.

Notes

Chill briefly before cutting for the cleanest squares.
