Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken tenderloins
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • Cooking spray

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
  2. Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in egg, then coat thoroughly with the seasoned panko mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange tenders in a single layer, not touching.
  5. Spray the tops of the tenders lightly with cooking spray and air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. While tenders cook, whisk together honey and hot sauce in a small bowl.
  7. Drizzle the hot honey over the cooked tenders or serve on the side for dipping.
