Honey Sriracha Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
  4. Place the chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side up.
  5. Brush the honey Sriracha mixture generously over the chicken thighs, making sure they are well-coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
  7. Optional: For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken thighs for an additional 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the chicken thighs rest for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Enjoy with your favorite sides!
