Honey Garlic Smoked Sausages

Smoked sausage coins cooked in a sticky honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb smoked sausage cut into 1-inch coins
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water

Method
 

  1. Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ketchup together in a skillet.
  2. Add the sausage coins and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  3. Cook 12 to 15 minutes, stirring often, until the sausage is heated through and coated.
  4. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer 2 minutes until the glaze thickens and turns glossy.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl with toothpicks and serve warm.

Notes

These hold beautifully in a slow cooker on warm for a party.
