Honey Garlic Cocktail Meatballs

Sweet, sticky, garlicky — these meatballs are pure crowd-pleaser energy. You can use frozen pre-made meatballs to cut your prep down to almost nothing. The sauce comes together in one pan in under ten minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs frozen fully cooked cocktail meatballs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, and rice vinegar in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a simmer and stir in the cornstarch mixture; cook 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Add frozen meatballs to the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.
  4. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1.5-2 hours until heated through.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve with toothpicks.
