Honey Garlic Chicken Stir Fry

Pardon the pun, but get ready for a real treat! In less than 30 minutes, you can prepare an easy dish that will delight your family with tender chicken in an irresistible stick honey garlic sauce plus green beans! Sweet and savory, it’s pure comfort food.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cubed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups green beans trimmed
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Method
 

  1. Whisk the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and chicken broth together in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6 minutes. Remove.
  3. Add the remaining oil and the green beans and stir-fry 4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Add the garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Return the chicken, pour in the sauce, and toss until sticky and glossy, about 2 minutes.
  6. Serve over rice.

Notes

Six cloves sounds like a lot, but it mellows into pure sweet-garlic magic as it cooks.
